Spicy grilled chicken wings topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
Chicken wings
- 12 whole chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons garlic salt
- 2 tablespoons black pepper
- 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh oregano leaves
- 2 cups blue cheese dressing, recipe below
Blue cheese dressing
- 110 g of blue cheese
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2/3 cup unsweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon celery seeds
Preparation:
- Rinse the chicken wings under cold running water, then pat dry completely with paper towels. Place the wings in a large bowl and sprinkle with garlic salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and oregano. Sprinkle the seasoning on only one side of the wings if you prefer a milder flavor. For spicier wings, toss them with the seasoning to coat them on all sides. Then cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the chicken wings, turning once, until the juices run clear when pierced with a fork. Serve immediately with blue cheese sauce.
Blue Cheese Sauce: Combine all ingredients in a food processor and puree. Transfer to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve.
