Basic wine gelato

Ingredients:

  • 150 ml of milk
  • 90 ml heavy cream
  • 70 g of sugar
  • 180-300 ml of red wine

Preparation:

  1. Combine milk, cream, and sugar in a saucepan and heat, stirring, to 180°F (82°C). Cool and refrigerate overnight. Add wine and freeze in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
