Hollywood Park Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 45 ml bourbon
  • 35 ml simple syrup
  • 30 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 7 ml of cognac
  • 5 fresh mint leaves + a sprig for serving
  • A wedge of lime, for serving

Preparation:

  1. Combine bourbon, simple syrup, lime juice, cognac, and mint leaves in a shaker and smash the mint.

    To make simple sugar syrup, heat equal parts sugar and water until the sugar is completely dissolved; cool.
  2. Add ice cubes and shake vigorously. Taste, then strain over fresh crushed ice. Garnish with a mint sprig and lime wedge.
