Blackberry Mint Sherry Cobbler

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup blackberries + extra for serving
  • 1/3 cup chopped fresh mint
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 90 gr. Amontillado sherry

Preparation:

  1. Prepare the blackberry baseIn a medium bowl, mash the blackberries, mint, and sugar with a fork until you have a chunky puree. Let sit for about 30 minutes to release the juices. You should have 1 cup of blackberry base, enough for 4 cocktails.
  2. For each serving of drinkCombine 1/4 cup of blackberry base with sherry in a shaker, fill with ice, and shake well. Strain into a tall glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with blackberries.
