Chocolate pudding with yolks

Ingredients:

    Pudding

  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 0.5 cups of sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 150 g dark chocolate, chopped
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

    Whipped cream with cinnamon

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

Preparation:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk the egg yolks with the sugar and cornstarch.
  2. Combine the milk, chocolate, and salt in a saucepan and heat over medium heat, stirring until the chocolate melts. Gradually pour the hot chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, whisking constantly. Pour it back into the saucepan and whisk until thickened, 12-15 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla, then divide the mixture among 6-8 dessert cups. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until completely set, about 2 hours.
  3. Make cinnamon whipped creamMeanwhile, in a bowl, beat the cream and sugar until soft peaks form; stir in the cinnamon. Serve with the pudding.
