Boiled carrots

Ingredients:

  • 0.7 kg. mini carrots
  • 3 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt

Preparation:

  1. Fill a saucepan with 1 cm of water and add the baby carrots along with the butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil, cover, and reduce heat.
  2. Simmer for 7-8 minutes, remove the lid, and increase the heat to medium. Allow most of the water to evaporate within a couple of minutes. Stir the carrots into the sauce, season with salt to taste, and serve.
