Stewed mustard greens

Ingredients:

  • 2 bunches mustard greens, trimmed and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp. grainy mustard

Preparation:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic to the hot oil. Cook until softened and fragrant.
  2. Add the mustard greens. Season with salt and pepper and cook until wilted. Then add the chicken broth and stir. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in grainy mustard. Serve hot.
