Orzo pasta with cherry tomatoes topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 1 can (400 g) of canned cherry tomatoes
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 0.5 tsp rosemary
Preparation:
- In a saucepan over medium heat, sauté 3 minced garlic cloves, 1/2 teaspoon each chopped rosemary, and coarse salt in 2 tablespoons olive oil for 1 minute. Add 1 cup orzo pasta; cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
- Add one can of cherry tomatoes (400 g) and 2 cups of chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low.
- Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until the orzo is tender, 7 minutes. Stir in 2 tablespoons of grated Pecorino cheese.
