Simple Cheese Spread with Pimento Peppers topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 220 g of grated cheddar
- 220 g Pepper Jack cheese, grated
- 1 can (110 g) canned chopped pimento peppers + 2 tablespoons liquid from the can
- Half a red onion, diced
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon hot smoked paprika
- 0.5 tsp ground celery seeds
- 1 loaf white sandwich bread, sliced diagonally
Preparation:
- In a medium bowl, combine the cheeses, pimento cheese, pimento juice, onion, mayonnaise, garlic, paprika, and celery seeds. Mix well, season with salt and pepper to taste. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Transfer the cheese spread to a serving bowl and serve with bread.
