Turmeric Flatbreads

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup premium flour
  • 1.5 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

Preparation:

  1. In a bowl, combine 1 cup flour, 1.5 teaspoons ground turmeric, 0.5 teaspoon coarse salt, and 1/4 teaspoon baking powder. Add 1/3 cup water and 2 tablespoons olive oil. Knead the dough for 1-2 minutes. Cover and let rest for 15 minutes.
  2. Cut the dough into 4 pieces; stretch each piece into a 6-inch (15 cm) circle. Fry one piece at a time in a greased skillet over medium-high heat, turning, until golden brown, 2 minutes.
