London Broil Steak in Tequila Marinade topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 cup tequila
- 1 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/4 cup sesame oil, optional
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1.5 kg London Broil steak
- Coriander leaves for garnish
Preparation:
- Combine all ingredients except the meat in a blender. Blend until smooth. Place the steak in a non-reactive container and pour the marinade over it, turning to coat. Refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours.
- Preheat grill to high heat.
- Place the steak on a hot grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, turning it over 4 times (cooking time will depend on the thickness of the steak).
- Let the steak rest for at least 10 minutes. Then slice it diagonally into wide, thin slices. Garnish with fresh cilantro.
