Chocolate cherry sangria

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chocolate liqueur
  • 1 cup ruby ​​port
  • 1 cup cherries in syrup, strain and set aside 0.5 cups of syrup
  • 1 package (340 g) of frozen cherries
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) of Petit Sirah or other full-bodied red wine
  • 1 bottle (0.5 l.) cherry cola

Preparation:

  1. Combine wine, cola, liqueur, and port in a three-liter pitcher. Add cherries, syrup, and frozen cherries and cover the pitcher with plastic wrap. Refrigerate the sangria to chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  2. To serve, fill 8 glasses halfway with ice, then pour in the sangria and place a cherry in each glass.
