topcook.tomathouse.com

Ingredients:

    Steak

  • 1 flank steak weighing approximately 1 kg.
  • 2 tablespoons of crushed garlic
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • Teriyaki sauce for greasing

    Vegetables

  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 sweet peppers, halved, seeded and cut into strips
  • 2 zucchinis, halved lengthwise and cut into half-moon pieces
  • 1 onion, cut into half rings

Preparation:

  1. Steak:

Place the steak on a baking sheet or platter and rub with garlic and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Let rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Preheat a grill or grill pan to high heat. Brush the steak with a small amount of teriyaki sauce. Grill the steak until medium-rare, about 6 minutes per side. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest.
  3. Vegetables:

In a large, deep skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Add the pepper, zucchini, and onion and cook for 5 minutes, stirring. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Slice the steak thinly across the grain. Serve with vegetables.
