Ingredients:
- 90 ml of golden rum
- 30 ml lime juice
- 20 ml demerara syrup
- 7 ml of grenadine
- 2 drops of Angostura
Preparation:
- Combine 90ml of golden rum, 30ml of lime juice, 20ml of demerara syrup, 7ml of grenadine and 2 dashes of Angostura in a shaker with ice; shake well.
- Strain into a tall glass filled with ice. Garnish with a sprig of mint and a slice of pineapple.
Demerara syrup: Heat equal parts granulated sugar and water in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves; let cool. Demerara sugar or honey can be used instead of granulated sugar.
