Strawberry Daiquiri with Ginger

Ingredients:

  • 700 g frozen strawberries
  • 1 and 1/4 cups rum
  • 0.5 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 0.5 cups sugar syrup
  • 1 tbsp. grated ginger
  • Fresh strawberries, sliced, for garnish
  • 1 cup of sugar

Preparation:

  1. Combine strawberries, rum, lime juice, syrup and ginger in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into frozen cocktail glasses and garnish with sliced ​​strawberries. Serve immediately.

    Simple sugar syrup:
    Yield: 1.5 cups

    Combine sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool completely. Store in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
