Smoked pork ham in orange glaze topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 1 (6.5-7 kg) ready-made smoked spiral-cut ham on the bone
- 6 cloves of garlic
- 240 g orange confiture
- 1/2 cup Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp. light brown sugar (compacted)
- Zest of 1 orange
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 180C. Place the ham in a heavy-bottomed roasting pan.
- Finely chop the garlic in a food processor using the blade attachment. Add the marmalade, mustard, brown sugar, orange zest, and orange juice and process until smooth. Pour the glaze over the ham and bake for 1 hour, until the ham is cooked through and the glaze is golden brown. Serve hot or at room temperature.
