Ingredients:
- 30 ml bitter orange liqueur, such as Aperol
- 30 ml white rum
- 15 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice from half a lemon, do not discard the rind
- 20 ml simple sugar syrup
- 7–15 ml rum (75.5%)
Preparation:
- Combine orange liqueur, white rum, lemon juice, and syrup in a shaker filled with ice. Shake for 30 seconds. Strain into a rocks glass or a large coupe.
- Place the lemon peel in a glass and fill with 75.5% ABV rum. Using a long match, carefully light the rum on fire. To extinguish the flame, dip the lemon into the cocktail with a spoon.
