Casserole with green beans and mushrooms

Ingredients:

    Casserole

  • 1/2 cup sliced ​​fresh mushrooms
  • 1 can (300 gr.) cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 cups of chicken broth for boiling beans
  • 2 cups chopped green beans
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 can (80g) deep-fried onion rings
  • 35-40 g butter
  • A pinch of homemade seasoning, see recipe below
  • 1 tbsp. grated cheddar cheese

    Homemade seasoning

  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup black pepper
  • 1/4 cup garlic powder

Preparation:

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet. Saute the onion and mushrooms in the butter.
  2. Cook the green beans in chicken broth for 10 minutes and strain. Add the beans, mushroom soup, onion rings, and homemade seasoning to the onion mixture. Mix well.
  3. Preheat oven to 180°C. Pour the mixture into a greased 1.5-quart casserole dish. Bake for 20 minutes, then sprinkle the thick dish with cheddar cheese and bake for another 10 minutes, until hot and the cheese is melted.

    Homemade seasoning: Mix all ingredients and store in an airtight container for up to 6 months.
