Caribbean garlic sauce topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 12 crushed and minced garlic cloves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp chili powder
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced into half rings
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 3/4 cup orange juice
Preparation:
- Using a wooden spoon, mash the garlic and salt. Heat the garlic mixture, pepper, onion, cumin, and oil in a frying pan. Sauté over low heat until the onion is translucent. Add the orange and lime juice and bring to a simmer. Serve with pieces of cooked cassava.
