Green peas with turnips

Ingredients:

  • 350 g sugar snap peas
  • 2 bunches turnips, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • Butter for frying
  • Chopped parsley for sprinkling
  • Lemon for serving, cut into pieces
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper

Preparation:

  1. Boil the pea pods in a saucepan with salted water for 3 minutes. Add the turnip slices and cook for 2 minutes. Drain.
  2. Fry the onion and garlic in butter. Add the cooked vegetables and sugar. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve with lemon.
