Homemade Italian Herb Breadcrumbs topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 300 g stale bread, cut into 2.5 cm pieces.
- 1 tbsp Italian herb seasoning (oregano, basil, marjoram, rosemary, sage, and thyme)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp coarse salt
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 150°C.
- Place all ingredients in a blender, cover, and coarsely blend for about 2 minutes. Spread the crumbs evenly on 2 baking sheets and bake until golden brown and crisp, about 5 minutes. Cool the breadcrumbs on the baking sheets for 15-20 minutes, then transfer them to an airtight container and store at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
