Ingredients:
For the syrup:
- 1/2 tbsp. strong brewed hibiscus tea
- 1/2 cup sugar
For the cocktail:
- 30 ml. hibiscus tea syrup
- 60 ml whiskey or bourbon
- Juice of 1/2 orange
- Freshly ground black pepper, for garnishing the glass
Preparation:
- Prepare the syrup: Dissolve sugar in hot hibiscus tea, cool.
- Prepare the glass: Wet the rim of a martini glass and dip it in ground black pepper.
- Prepare a cocktail: Combine hibiscus syrup, whiskey, orange juice, and some ice in a shaker. Shake thoroughly, then strain into a prepared glass.
