Cold Gin and Blackberry Slush Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 450 g fresh blackberries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp plus 2 tbsp chilled gin
  • 1 cup chilled sparkling water
  • 3/4 cup lime juice (8-10 limes)
  • 2 cups finely crushed ice

Preparation:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the blackberries and sugar and let sit at room temperature. Combine the gin, soda water, and lime juice in a blender and blend until combined.
  2. When ready to serve, add the blackberries and ice to a blender and blend until desired consistency. If you prefer a smoother texture, blend longer. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
