Overnight Oats: Blueberry Almond No-Cook Oats topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup skim milk
- 0.5 cups oatmeal
- 1/3 cup blueberries
- 1 tsp. brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp finely grated lemon zest
- 1/8 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 drops of almond extract
- 1 tbsp toasted sliced almonds
- 2 tsp. honey or agave nectar
Preparation:
- The night before, combine milk, oats, blueberries, brown sugar, lemon zest, vanilla, almond extract, and a pinch of salt in a glass jar or other container with a lid. Seal and shake well. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- In the morning, garnish the porridge with almonds and drizzle with honey.
