Oven-baked beef ribs with barbecue sauce topcook.tomathouse.com
Ingredients:
- 2 kg of boneless beef short ribs, cut into 7.5 cm long pieces.
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 0.5 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. table vinegar 5%
- 0.5 tsp ground dried thyme
- 2/3 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Preparation:
- Preheat oven to 150°C.
Place the ribs in a 22x32 cm baking dish, season with salt and pepper to taste.
In a small bowl, combine all remaining ingredients. Pour the sauce over the ribs and mix thoroughly.
- Cover the meat with aluminum foil and bake for about 3 hours, until tender and cooked through. Remove the foil half an hour before the end of the roasting process to create a crispy crust.
Transfer the finished ribs to a platter and serve.
