Ingredients:
Marinade
- 1.3 kg chicken wing shoulders, dried with paper towels
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tbsp finely grated orange zest
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
Glaze
- 3 tbsp (45 g) butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 4 thinly sliced green onions, for serving
Preparation:
- In a large bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, orange zest, honey, hot sauce, and Dijon mustard. Add the chicken wings and toss to combine. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or overnight.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat over direct heat.
Remove the wings from the marinade and pat dry with paper towels. Grill until crispy, about 8 minutes per side.
- While the wings are grilling, melt the butter in a small saucepan over a grill. Stir in the honey and mustard. Brush the wings with the prepared glaze and grill for another two minutes. Serve the wings on a platter, garnished with green onions.
